DJ Ed Ferris ... committed to making your party the best!

Hello, I'm Ed Ferris of Nightlife DJ service and  graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.  I began my career at the age of seven and, in only three months, began playing saxophone and clarinet with the Young Rhode Islanders Dance Band, a 20-piece jazz band that quickly became one of the premiere ensembles on the East Coast.  I've performed for such notables as Frank Sinatra, Merv Griffin, Johnny Carson, Bob Hope, Lawrence Welk, Red Buttons, Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator Bob Dole, Michael Landon, Miss America, the cast of Hogan's Heroes, Buddy Hackett and members of the Boston Red Sox.  I've appeared at the Apple Blossom Festival in Washington, DC, USO Shows in NYC and was the opening act for the Ma's & PaPa's at the Celebrate America Festival in Massachusetts.

During my tenure with McDonald's All-American Band, I appeared at the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California and also performed in the Macy's Day Parade. I have played in prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City several times and have recorded with Whitney Houston's keyboardist, Al Jarreau's guitarist and Lyle Lovitt's drummer in Nashville.  I also have procured single song contracts in New York and Florida. Some of the countries I have performed in include Greece, Mexico, Italy, Norway and Canada.

With the addition of my son Jonathan in 2004, Nightlife DJ Entertainment has become even more versatile. Together we have performed at numerous weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, school dances and private functions throughout New England and New York. With the power of 2 DJ's our interaction level can be as high or as low key as you like. Our sound is totally pristine through the use of digital computers and high-end sound equipment. Our tasteful mix and knowledge of music keeps the dance floor packed all night long.

Since 1989 Nightlife DJ Entertainment has performed at thousands of weddings and functions and we are committed to presenting to you and your guests the best performance in the business.
